Executive Committee
We will hold elections every three years for the following positions:
Staff Representatives
Providing support, advice and information to members and so:- will be provided with an induction and basic training over the first six months in the role (responsibility of providing this lies with the Chair and Vice-Chair)
- must notify the executive committee of all casework and update database accordingly
- must attend 6 out of 12 annual executive meetings and commit to responding to issues
- by agreeing to undertake the role will agree to act in members best interests first and foremost
- must take on an appropriate amount casework on an ongoing basis
Representatives are:
Al Reid (Pensions), Beck Wallace (Equalities), Henry Gibson, Judith Thompson, Mary Malpas,Suzannah Arnfield, Vimal Shah
Treasurer
Observes and manages the accounts of the Union and ensures that finances are always transparent and available through regular (i.e. monthly) reporting.

Equalities Representative
Responsible for monitoring, advising and communicating to members equalities issues across the scope of membership. Can also act as a Staff Rep.
Equalities Rep: Beck Wallace
Pensions Representative
Responsible for monitoring, advising and communicating to members on pensions issues across the scope of membership. Can also act as a Staff Rep.
Pensions Representative elected by the Exec in 2021: Al Reid
Health and Safety Representative
Responsible for monitoring, advising and communicating to members on H&S issues across the scope of membership (from shops/warehouses to offices and outdoor events). Would liaise with Oxfam H&S committee. Can also act as a Staff Rep.
Chair of Executive Committee
Provides leadership, energy and direction to the Exec and Union as a whole. Communicates with Leadership Team when escalating issues and is the main contact between the union and Oxfam’s employee relations. Can also act as a Staff Rep.
